They do yes.
I went to a state school in England, but the R.E. teachers had a habit of reffering to Christianity as truth and other religions as belief systems.
They would say things like 'and then Jesus rose from the dead', 'God MADE Adam' etc. but then 'Muslims BELIEVE that Allah...', 'Hindus BELIEVE that...'
Its a flucking joke. Luckily I was smart enough as a child to understand that all religions are pure speculation and there are no facts to back them up. I feel for the kids who (understandably) beleive that what teachers say is automatically truth.
