im going to have to agree if you put up with it this long you don't have a problem with it so just try to get him to be more domestic or.......You could start going out and hanging out with your med-friends and doing things of that nature he will then try to better himself a little.
I think you should try the domestication just give him ample time to do the chores like a week so you won't sound like a nag.
you cant change him I am sure he didn't wake up yesterday and decide to be a slacker. good luck
