where does a video i play on the internet saves?

If your playing a video on a website it is called "streaming video" and you cant save it, but if you click on a link and your media player pops up then you can save the video by instead of left clicking the link, right click it and select "save target as" and then select the destination you want to save the file.

Most of the vides are buffered into memory and not stored in your hard drive. If you use FireFox http://www.getfirefox.com you can easily download videos if you have the right extensions installed such as this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2390
