Is there a way to view the front row on my tv when my macbook pro is connected to it?

Is there a way to view the front row on my tv when my macbook pro is connected to it?

my macbook pro is connected to my hdtv using a dvi to hdmi cord and i can drag windows over to my tv to watch them but i can't view the front row on it. Any hints? I want to be able to view the front row so i could use the apple remote
