Everquest II players help me out?

Hey. I want to know what a Prismatic 1 is and a Fabled Robe?
My friend has a 70 lvl necro account he wants to sell to me and I want to see how good of a quality he is.

Just wanting to see if that's good/what that means?


I used to play Everquest, but never decided to get EQII so I'm kinda new to the equivilants and so on ;]

Prismatic 1 weapons were introduced when the game came out. They were (and still are) somewhat of a pain to acquire. At level 70, a prismatic 1 weapon is nothing more than a novelty. As far as Fabled gear, the best of the best gear will be fabled. There is one tier above fabled called mythical (only one per server, once found, its gone) but most will never acquire anything mythical.

Since you played Everquest and not Everquest II, there are some differences you should probably look up, such as system requirements and differences in gameplay. Many EQ1 players disliked the changes in EQ2. I came from EQ1 and I personally Love EQ2. I really recommend starting at level 1 instead of buying a preleveled character though, as honestly, leveling up in EQ2 is not so much a chore as it is an adventure! Enjoy!
