Is there life on Mars?

I think the chances of a civilisation are low (unless you count a civilisation of microbes)
but I think there must be a chance for some kind of very basic life?
The fact that there looks to be underground caves cause by water erosion gives a chance that life could exist there away from the inhospitable surface?

I voted no on the life on Mars. I suppose it's possible on the molecular level, but who cares? It's not going to make any difference to me if they find some living amoeba or something...

it might mean we came from Mars..
if they find any level of other life it increases the chances of life similar to ours being near..
even if its still some lil amoeba I think it would be something important

I think it's possible, but I doubt they will be any more technologicly advanced than us, otherwise I don't see why they havn't visted us by now.

Y, I think it's far more likely there is another planet like ours a million cajillion lightyears from us that we don't know about and never will discover!

Thats the only thing that stops me thinking that there could be life on mars, because I think they would have visited us by now if there was. Unless they wern't so technologicly advanced, or that they look and act the same as us and have visited without us knowing somehow.

I do think there must be another world out there like ours, from the big bang we couldn't have been the only rock going at just the right speed, etc. to create a world like ours that was able to create life.
