Ebay...a limit to what you'd spend for 1 item?

Well I had ordered my new camera from buy.com which got it from another distributor but they gave me the run around on the expected ship date, back order and so forth so I found a good deal on ebay, $1011...it's taking forever to ship though and then parcel post (in the USA that means a "slow boat from China" as far as the delivery time).

yea same for amazon sometimes when you buy from the distributor
the parcelpost in the uk can be pretty bad also
they arent called parcelfarce for nothin

and the stupid thing is that 9/10 parcel post is only like a few dollars cheaper!!

The other advantage buying from a reputable place, your buy.coms, tigerditrect, etc....you know when the dang thing ships!!

now I've got to wait on this NTAC to get back to me...I just want to know when it ships so I can count the 7-10 days for parcel post!!

Doesn't ebay tell you when things ship? I suppose people could lie about that though.
