But you have to get out of your UCP every once in a while! Most of your subscribed threads will die eventually, and then you will have nothing left! I clear my UPC (sometimes that takes all day) and then I hit the open forum searching out the new stuff!

I clean out my ucp when it gets too crowded with non-business threads, or threads that I am not committed to.

I dunno how you can keep up with everything tbh
Eventually you spend less and less time reading things that dont immediately grab you and go for the most initially interesting
theres no other way of doing it as fa as I see
that and maybe getting a robot to do it for you

I very rarely unsubscribe from a thread. I only do that when it's boring the heck out of me. Or if it's a business deal that I am no longer interested in. I read everything in my UCP, and reply if I have something to say.

I suppose thats probably not the best way to do it though

About the only ones I usually unsubscribe from are the really old "welcome" threads that everyone bumps. @ some "other" forum today I had 22 new threads, 42% of which were the darned "welcome to this place"...I was like step off!!

The only time I ever welcome somebody to a forum is if I already know them from another forum. Other than that I stay away. Welcome threads are boring.
