I need a cool hobby any ideas??

I am 30 years old. Mother of two beautiful girls. I need a cool hobby. My husband needs one too! We live near the beach and are fit and healthy and young at heart so are up for anything.
Please give me ideas of cool stuff we can do on weekends or hobbys we can try.
I like the mountain biking idea.
writing, painting, photography are great ideas too which I'd like.
I'm thinking of something more extreme like motorbiking or four wheel driving etc, but not as extreme as knife throwing...
Just cos I am 30 and have kids I dont really wana do tame stuff like quilting and that (not that theres anything wrong with quilting...)

Start a scrap book for your girls, family, pets and friends! It is fun and they sell cute things for the books! Have fun!

I love to mountain bike. It's become a passion of mine. I started in March 2007 and I'm having a blast! It's really easy to get into and keeps you super fit. Seeing as how you're 30, you're well into your home and have settled in on things you need for the rest of your life. Invest in a decent bicycle for each of you and hit the trails, there are loads of them out there. Search the internet for local trails and organizations, but most importantly, have fun doing it!

Mountain biking can get really extreme. It all depends on the skill level you strive to achieve.
