What are your favorite bands or recording artists?

I have tons that I like but some of my favorites are Aerosmith, Foreigner, BonJovi, Guns N Roses, and Van Halen.

I dont actually like a lot of traditional bands so much
Some I do like are
Pink Floyd (early stuff only) (and Syd Barrett)
The Fall
The Smiths
The Pixies
Mr Bungle
Kraftwerk
The Cure
I like a lot of other styles of music and performers though including hip hop, rap, drum and bass and electronic. I even like some death metal

I'm more hip , but I don't recognize The Fall or Mr. Bungle

I think most of them aren't Indie but yeah, lesser known, at least globally.

Of course! Faith No More, used to listen to them all the time! We care a lot!!!


My friends and I were fortunate enough to discover the "Grunge" scene about 3-4 years before it became overly popular in the USA.

We bought our first Nirvana CD(Bleach) in Boston (Newbury Comics) in 1989. That led to us listening to Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Mudhoney, Motherlovebone, Pearl Jam, Screaming Trees, L7, Love Battery, Seaweed, TAD, Melvins, ... - - - - LONG before anyone had heard of them...and I'm sure some of you are still WHO?ing me about some, if not all, of the ones I just listed
