The hitcher, for some reason I didn't like the hills have eyes, it was too gory for me and I don't know why because I watch movies like that all the time, they are my favorite kind to watch.

I've never seen The Hitcher, but The Hills Have Eyes greatly disturbed me. I didn't like it.

The Hitcher...but I prefer the original version (2003 starring Rutger Hauer, C. Thomas Howell and Jennifer Jason Leigh). The gore was less and the intensity level was much higher---probably because the actors were better.
