what do you think of the movie "Borat"?

what parts did you like and dislike?

well I like Borat because I watched him before on shows in the UK
I didn't get to see all the movie but parts I saw were pretty funny.

I liked the bit when hes in the antique shop and knocks stuff over
The owner I think is close to a nervous breakdown

my friend said he was embarrassed by portions of the movie and he was alone while watching it!

and normally he likes that kind of stuff.

I thought it was pretty funny but not top tier in my book.

yea I know how that is
there was quite a lot of comedy from the UK in recent years with that kind of style
another was Alan Partridge
very English type of homour but yes you felt embarrassed watching some of it but I thought it was very funny
oh yea and The Office which you probably know about since it hit the states in its own version

I'veheard about The Office but never have watched it. I don't watch much TV outside of NFL, Seinfeld, and Family Guy! Of course really the latter being on DVD!!

I liked Seinfeld but never thought The Family Guy was so funny even though my friend did

as for The Office well in the UK version it was very good
I dont know how this translates to the US version but I heard it was good too

think this is pretty lame but wouldn't it be normal for the producers to get permission to use the footage beforehand so this wouldnt happen?
