Which actor was the best James Bond?

According to wikipedia,
Quote:
From 1962 through 2006, six actors have portrayed James Bond in "official" films:

Sean Connery (1962–1967; 1971)
George Lazenby (1969)
Roger Moore (1973–1985)
Timothy Dalton (1987–1989)
Pierce Brosnan (1995–2002)
Daniel Craig (2006–present)
Which bond actor do you think was best?

My vote goes to Pierce Brosnan.

I can't stand any of the pre-Brosnan Bond movies! My dad owns every single one (and the Matchbox cars of every Bond car ever...). I have seen them all way too many times. Good cure for insomnia if you ask me...

I know what you mean, they are much different (slower paced) than the ones made since 1990+; not to mention the advances in special effects, cgi and so forth.

yea but I think with Roger Moore and more so Sean Connery they brought something a little more to the movies than the special effects
screen presence

I have to say Sean Connery. It was a toss up between him and Pierce Brosnan though, I quite like the newer films regardless of what others say about there being too many special effects.

Daniel Craig could have done better I think, but I will wait and see for the new movies they have planned with him (think he just signed a deal for 8 more).
