so me, my brother and sister are all big Caddyshack fans
my brother and sister on Sat night decided to send Danndy Noonan aka Michael O'Keefe a random email and say hello and thanks for being Danny Noonan..
so he replied today!
said thanks for the boost, ive many friends in Ireland good to have another

thought that was very cool

yea I read an article on him after that also mentioning his role in Caddyshack and he said he used to hate people referring to it but now hes cool with it
suppose he wanted his current work to be what people liked most

some actors realise its important
I think a lot are shielded from the public and not always by choice and never have a chance to be contacted easily
probably a lot of whackos around too so they dont take the risk of being too accessible

that must be tough on actors...they do OTHER things but most people just remember the cult hits or whatever.

It can be a curse too. Jason Alexander for instance can't get past that when people look at him all they see is George Costanza from Seinfeld when in fact he is quite an accomplished actor outside of that show!
