How can we be more proactive in taking away some of religions power?

Because it does have far too much power. The creation museum is testament to this. Free thinking Christians, mild mannered Muslims and logical atheists need to unite and take back some of the power that the fanatics have stolen. How can this be achieved?

It's difficult. Raising education standards in poorer areas where Christianity has its tightest grip would be a start. Maybe making donations to some secularist pressure groups (in any exist).
