Do you believe in evolution?

Just as the title says.

I know someone who says that they don't "because if we evolved from monkeys then surely there would be monkeys turning into humans all over the place". I laughed, obviously someone doesn't understand the theory of evolution.

I'm quite undecided on this issue.

What are other people's views?

I think even if you look at the similarities between a lot of animal groups its too coincidental that a path can be followed from the earliest lifeform
Supposedly lately Darwin's theory has been challenged though because there isnt one evolutionary chain but more than one
I think that at least the basis of the theory is how we are here though

well, I saw this documentary about these kids who gained abilities as part of their evolution. some could shoot lasers from their eyes, some could control the weather. it was weird, but it proved that evolution is real.
