Not in western religious schools. Unless you include Christmas and Easter which most Brits relate more to Santa and the Easter Bunny than to any God.

They are also more believable!

They do yes.

I went to a state school in England, but the R.E. teachers had a habit of reffering to Christianity as truth and other religions as belief systems.

They would say things like 'and then Jesus rose from the dead', 'God MADE Adam' etc. but then 'Muslims BELIEVE that Allah...', 'Hindus BELIEVE that...'

Its a flucking joke. Luckily I was smart enough as a child to understand that all religions are pure speculation and there are no facts to back them up. I feel for the kids who (understandably) beleive that what teachers say is automatically truth.

There are parochial schools and secular schools. I went to a secular school so there was little mention of religion.

Some of the Catholic or CoE schools probably do, though even they now take children in who are not of that religion.

There is however still a law which says all schools must have a group prayer session daily, though I think most possibly ignore this and only do it at a weekly assembly.
