Going to Tunisia
I'm going to Tunisia in January
![]() My gf is going with her family and one of them dropped out so there was a spare ticket, they offered to transfer it to my name and let me come on holiday with them. Should be good. Anyone been? |

That probably would be a bit weird to go on vacation with her now. But you should try to get over the weirdness between now and then so everything is fine for the trip. |

itd be weird probably to a certain extent but if it was too weird for you to go your ex gf would not invite you
treat it as a good chance to see somewhere in the world you maybe wouldnt have picked to see before.. travelling is great and I would recommend it always

It was pretty good. Although I would have liked to go to the Sahara, my ex didn't have enough money though so I couldn't leave her back at the hotel while I went.
It was weird. She acts as if nothing has changed, and gets upset every time I even try talk to her about it. I'm pretty sure there is another guy too. She couldn't even cope without the internet for a day, never mind the week, the hotel had internet for a price and she went on it at least half an hour every day. Also started using her phone a lot even though she knew it would cost her a lot, bloody stupid if you ask me, she won't even have the money to pay for it anymore, she hardly has the money to travel to college anymore. Anyway, enough of that ![]() Tunisia was great, i'd go again just to get to the Sahara. Although there wasn't really much to buy (that was any good), it was all crap wood carvings and so on, not even made by people, they were all the same, machine made. |

welcome back
![]() I think you were very brave actually to go through with it especially if it seems theres something else going on anyway you had your experience and thats something positive imo I think a lot of places that have tourists travelling through have these goods mass produced think you need to get away from those areas to find stuff in the areas where the locals live just probably more difficult and not as accessible than the places you saw already

Yeah, some of the people I went with went to the Sahara and bought some rocks which were cracked open and had small crystals inside them for pretty cheap, they looked pretty good too.
You also got lots of fake designer clothes and things, which wasn't bad, but I wouldn't have bought clothes for mates presents. I bought myself a nice new wallet though for the equivelent of £3 ($6). Could also get some pretty nice sunglasses for about £2-3 ($4-6) but they wern't as good as mine so I didn't bother. |
