After a programmer finishes making your website, what happens next? Do

you need to hire a webmaster? or DIY? What is holding me back is perhaps this exact question,

After a programmer puts up your website for you, does the package includes easy to do changes to the website yourself?

Or is it totally up to yourself to hire someone to do the changes after that? Because changes aren't often, maybe once or twice a month, hiring a webmaster might not be a good answer.

It will be great to have your advice Guys Thanks!

i think after programming, you should compile or check your whole website/script for error, than upload it on the net.

hutsy has disabled reputation
of course its up to you to make changes
you have paid for the design and programming and unless previously arranged you will have to pay for further changes

what you probably need to do once you site is online is promote
and I mean promote, promote, promote
no point spending the money on setting up a site and noone being able to see it

It depends how it's made if the changes will be easy or not.

If it's made using a CMS then it should be a lot easier to update information (using a login and then adding/deleting/amending info). If not then you'd have to change files or a database yourself, which can get complex.
